Phil has over three decades of experience in real estate, land use, and environmental law. He represents owners, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants of commercial and residential properties in all types of transactional and litigation matters. His practice also includes representation of clients before municipal and state regulatory and administrative agencies, as well as all courts in the Commonwealth. Phil also represents small businesses and their principals in business, probate, and estate planning matters.
Phil has complemented his practice by serving as a consultant to various companies and government agencies including the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, AT&T Wireless Services, and Nextel Corporation. As a volunteer, Phil served on the DEP Title 5 Regulatory Review Committee, the Board of the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition, the Wakefield Conservation Commission and Rail to Trail Committee. Phil currently serves as a board member Treasurer of the Concord Housing Development Corp., a non-profit organization whose mission is the explore and implement affordable housing options in the Town of Concord, Massachusetts. Phil has participated in the Pan Mass Challenge, one of the largest athletic fundraising events in the United States as a fundraiser and volunteer since 2002. The PMC raises funds for cutting edge research and life saving therapies at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
